Summary: power dough sheeter for the Feed Me Hope Bakery Program,
The Feed Me Hope Bakery Program is the first phase of our Feed Me Hope Culinary program which has been designed to bring people out of the soup line and into a place of employment and a new start in life. The program targets the homeless that we serve and our first students are from the Women's Cold Weather shelter that opened this winter at the DSK. The requested project funds would be used to acquire a reversible power sheeter which is a very needed piece of equipment that will help with production by rolling out large pieces of dough evenly and quickly.( specs and cost sheets have been submitted) Knowing how to use equipment like this is vital for the training program and the production of baked goods. As the baking program has already started this piece of equipment would be necessary as soon as possible to take the training and production to the next level.
