Project Description Country: USA Location: Phoenix, AZ Total Budget: $12,750 Area of Focus: Basic education and literacy Activity Type: Education: Literacy Summary: High School Students will give speeches to and be judged by business and professional leaders in our community 87th Annual Phoenix Rotary 100 High School Speech Contest to be held at Phoenix Country club in March or April 2017. Scholarships will be awarded as prizes to winning freshman, sophomores, juniors and seniors. Students from the Phoenix metro area are invited to attend (65 students attended in 2016), Invitations will be sent out in September 2016. 35 Club members will be involved as judges, time keepers and organizers.
