The purpose of this project is to purchase 8 quick microphone stands and Epson Professional quality printer & supplies for The South OC School of Arts (SOCSA) house at Dana Hills High School. SOCSA is a visual and performing arts academy for students within the Capistrano Unified School District who have special interests and potential for creativity. These items will enable SOCSA to provide help to its 500 students enrolled inthe Academy yearly,and additional non-SOCSA students from Dana Hills High School. The equipment will provide exceptional arts and career training as well as performance opportunities for the students.It will allow them to continue to bring the arts to wider audiences beyond their campus. The printer & supplies will allow SOCSA directly to meet the needs of our community. It will allow SOCSA to reach out. The students will create graphic design for use in printing ads,magazine covers, brochures and programs to publicize the shows and events throughout the year. In this way SOCSA keeps community awareness.The project will be completed by May 30, 2013.
