Project Description Country: USA Location: Abilene Total Budget: $2,400 Area of Focus: Basic education and literacy Activity Type: Education: Scholarships Summary: A former Rotary Exchange student from Brazil This scholarship project will provide a $5000 scholarship to former Rotary Exchange student from Brazil. He will be entering his junior year at Abilene Christian Univwrsity in August 2013 where he will continue his major in busines management. He has already completed hios first 3 yers witha 4.0 average. He has participted in mnay Rotary projects with the three abiulnee Rotary clubs since he arrived to attend ACU in the fall of 2011. This student plans on to become a Rotarian when he returns to Brazil upon graduation in 2015. The three Rotary Clubs are jointly funding the scholarship together. The beneficairty will be the scholar, and those who will benefit from the knowledge has has gained from his univeristy experience.
