Project Description Country: USA Location: Denton, Texas Total Budget: $2,328 Areas of Focus: Basic education and literacy, Community economic development Activity Type: Education: Scholarship Summary: United States The Adoption Fair grant could not be accomplished this year because Child Protective Services could not provide foster children for the project because of lingering Covid concerns. With permission from Rotarian Dusty Babitsky we are changing the purpose for the grant money. Our purpose for this grant is to provide partial funding for four $1000 college scholarships to Denton area high school students. We are asking for the same amount of money awarded for the Adoption Fair, $2,328. Our club will provide $1,500, and we are asking District for $828.
