Project Description Country: USA Location: Gothenburg Total Budget: $3,000 Area of Focus: Community economic development Activity Type: Community Development: General Summary: Two park benches at Lake Helen in Gothenburg, NE for beautification and to promote use of public spaces Lake Helen in Gothenburg, NE is a multi-use community park, picnic and fishing area with established walking trails. The benches (2) would be placed within the park and trails area for public use. The Gothenburg Noon Rotary club will be identified as the benefactor. Club members will be involved in the purchase application process through the City of Gothenburg as well as consulting on placement and ensuring the proper display of any Rotary emblems as needed.
