Project Description Country: USA Location: Orange county Total Budget: $1,664 Area of Focus: Basic education and literacy Activity Type: Education: General Summary: Juniors in High Students will Attend Rotary Youth Leadership Academy in Idylwild, Ca RYLA provides education, motivation and leadership skills for High School Juniors. They will spend 4 days learning skills to apply and support them as leaders of tomorrow. OC Digital Club will interview and select the candidate. When they complete the program, graduates will attend a club meeting and present their experiences. 2 club members will also attend RYLA as volunteers on site Addendum to Project Description (added after the project was signed) SEE CHANGES DETAILED BELOW: OC Higher Ground has 2 grants - 4380 and 4381 4381 was for 4 RYLA students but only 2 were identified - the cost of $850 was paid - $425 in DDF and $425 in Club funds. The remaining DDF is being transferred to DG 4380 - the balance that needs to be spent on the grant or returned to the District is $1,127 in Club Funds and $1,127 in DDF. The money needs to be spent as described in District Grant P-4380.
