The Allen City Park in Arnold, Nebraska, USA, is a city park that takes up an entire city block. There is only one trash can for the entire park and it sits way to one end of it by the picnic tables and shelter. The Rotary Club sees a need to add a second trash can to the park locating it by the rest rooms and playground equipment. This will provide children and families a second option for trash in an effort to keep the park clean. New playground equipment was installed three years ago and the restrooms recently updated. This draws a large number of children and families to the park everyday during the summer months into the fall and spring. A second trash can in the area will be of benefit to the cleanliness and sanitation of the area. The trash can has a delivery date of three months. The Rotary Club expects to have the trash can installed by the end of October 2022.
