Summary: Packaging of Dry Bulk Food Grains for Children in need of dietary health
We have partnered before with Rise Against Hunger (2019-20) and with Project Outreach (2021-22) and the Anaheim Hills Club. These events allow Non Rotarians and Rotarians to come together and work in teams, taking dry food grains with nutritional additives, weighing them, packaging each packet and providing delivery of the finished packaged food to a local domestic agency (exp. El Modena Family Resource Center) or international use. The timeline usually is in early Sept to Nov to accomplish our project. Last event both AH Club and OPR packaged up 10,000 meal packages in abut 2.5 hrs.
