Project Description Country: USA Location: arlington, TX Total Budget: $15,000 Area of Focus: Community economic development Activity Type: Community Development: Construction/Renovation Summary: In commemoration of our club’s Centennial, we are partnering with the City of Arlington Parks Department to create a “Rotary Dream Park” in downtown Arlington, which will include the installation of a large public art piece. The Rotary Club of Arlington has been committed to fostering open spaces (having establish the first park in Arlington), and has decided to partner with the City and other related organizations to create a "Rotary Dream Park" in Downtown Arlington to serve as a gateway to welcome visitors to downtown Arlington. In addition to a ribbon cutting, the Club will also host a community celebration to raise awareness of our Club's past, but also help us commence our second century with all of our community partners.
