Project Description Country: USA Location: Dallas Total Budget: $3,858 Area of Focus: Peacebuilding and conflict prevention Activity Type: Food/Agriculture: General Summary: Package 10,000 Meals for distribution to people in need. Denton-Lake Cities Rotary will work with The Rise Against Hunger Organization to package 10,000 dehydrated meals. The meals consist of dehydrated vegetables, rice and vitamins. Packaged meals are stored and distributed around the world to areas of need, such as drought stricken area or as disaster relief. Meal packing is performed by all club members, including families and our affiliated interact clubs.
