Project Description Country: Mexico Location: Poblado Miguel Aleman Total Budget: $1,319 Area of Focus: Basic education and literacy Activity Type: Education: Literacy Summary: Basic school supplies and notebooks for 50-80 school children in Poblado Miguel Aleman The Hermosillo Millennium Rotary Club has several members that act as teachers for 50 to 75 students that they are teaching to read and write. Basic student and teacher supplies are pretty much no existent and this rural school gets no government support. Notebooks, pencils, erasers, crayons and other materials requested. Rotarians from the Hermosillo club will work with students on a regular basis and Rotarians will be on hand at the time of distribution of these materials. Thanks. 22-Apr-24 by Abe Feder On April 21st eleven Rotarians from the Millennium Rotary Club from Hermosillo distributed packages of school supplies to 88 students that attend the Triqui School in Poblado Miguel Aleman.
