Summary: Water Purification System for Barron, Mexico
Loveland Thompson Valley Rotary is partnering with the Rotary Club of Fort Collins to provide a water purification system in Barron, Mexico.
After 4 years providing part time dental and Medical health care in a small rented concrete building, the Friends of Barron ( FOB) are planning to construct a new Barron Community Health clinic in the center of a 3000 population town in rural Mexico. The clinic will serve the medical, dental and health needs of the entire 3000 population town. This project is being done with the full support of the Rotary Club of Mazatlan Norte. Barron is only 30 KM outside of Mazatlan. The land for the clinic is now a vacant lot in the center of Barron. It is in the title of one of the project sponsors. This project will provide the critical water and sanitation structures for the Barron Community Health Clinic.
Rotarians from the Loveland Thompson Valley Club will be working with the officers and members of the RC Mazatlan Norte who are onsite for this project as well as the Fort Collins Club.
