Project Description Country: USA Location: Casper Total Budget: $4,000 Area of Focus: Basic education and literacy Activity Type: Education: Literacy Summary: Wyoming Reads For the past 18 years, Casper Five Trails Rotary has provided dictionaries for third graders. Our club has a strong focus on the youth in our community. We believe the dictionaries no longer have the impact they once had in Casper. Five Trails Rotary is partnering with the Wyoming Reads Organization this year, to provide books to children in first grade. Rotarians will also be reading to children who receive the books. This District Grant will help Five Trails Rotary meet our goal and support our new annual project that allows us to interact with children and promote literacy in our youth.
