Project Description Country: USA Location: Peoria, Arizona Total Budget: $6,996 Area of Focus: Basic education and literacy Activity Type: Education: Literacy Summary: Provide Student Personal Dictionaries to 1800 3rd graders within the Peoria Unified School District Personal Student Dictionaries to be distributed to all 3rd graders in 24 elementary schools within the Peoria Unified School District. Dictionaries to be distributed by 12/31/2024. Funds will be utilized to purchase 1800 student dictionaries at $3.75 ea, additionally #1350 Rotary 4 Way test name labels at $246.75 All dictionaries will be stickered with Rotary 4 Way test prior to dispensing. Addendum to Project Description (added after the project was signed) Peoria North Rotary Club has completed its 2024-25 Dictionary Project and appropriately spent the funds provided by the District DDF. Total cost was $6,978, which included over 1,600 dictionaries and the four-way-test labels that are applied on the inside front cover (for students to write their names on). We delivered over 1,600 dictionaries to students at 26 Peoria Unified School District schools. Uploaded are documents listing all the schools and number of dictionaries delivered to each school, invoice for dictionaries, proof of club payment, as well as photos of the club preparing and delivering dictionaries.
