Project Description Country: USA/Mexico Location: SJC/So Calif/Ensenada Total Budget: $27,500 Areas of Focus: Disease prevention and treatment, Basic education and literacy, Community economic development Activity Type: Community Development: General Summary: Ensenada Dental/Vision Clinic, Mexicao; District 5320 RYLA Scholarships and Scout Hut Repairs, SJC Orange County, CA Ensenada Dental/Vision Clinic - Two clinics providing free dental and vision services for underserved children and adults in Ensenada Mexico. Rotary Youth Leadership Academy (RYLA) - RYLA is an intensive leadership experience designed to develop youth leadership skills while having fun and making connections. The SJC Rotary Club plans to sponsor 10-12 high school students (depending on cost/fundraising) to participate RYLA 2025. Scout Hut Improvements/Repairs - Provide needed upgrades and repairs to keep the SJC Rotary Club Scout Hut functioning. The Scout is home base for BSA Troop 724 and provides a location for fundraising and other community events.
