Summary: Scholarships to attend JR and SR RYLA, 10 total
Teen mental health is a huge issue in this country, the Verde Valley and Sedona. Prevention is by far the best approach. RYLA is life changing for teens. The program brings out leadership skills through outdoor-based activities that encourage teamwork, trust and problem-solving. This is an interactive, experiential program with challenges, sharing, and group support. It builds skills, self-confidence, self knowledge, and lasting friendships. We will use the scholarship money to fund 5 students to attend SR RYLA and 5 students to attend Jr RYLA in 2024-25.
