Rotary Club: Anchorage International Project Title: Tilt Skillet 1. Describe the project. What was done, when and where did project activities take place? The project is 2 fold. The first is a culinary school where individuals can learn a skill hands-on. The second is feeding the less fortunate of the community. The Tilt Skillet is the last item needed to accessorize and make the kitchen fully equipped. 2. How many people benefited from this project? hundreds 3. Who were the beneficiaries, how were they impacted by this project, and what humanitarian need was met? Over 160 individuals volunteer weekly 450-600 cups of soup served daily 142,000 meals prepared annually 4. How many Rotarians participated in the project? 3 - 6 5. What did they do? Please give at least two examples, not including financial support provided to the project. Visited the site to measure the area of where the skillet was to be installed. It will fit. I measured it myself. Follow up visits will occur for pics and videos. Rotarians from 3 clubs coordinated and raised funds for the event 6. If a cooperating organization was involved, what was its role? There was no cooperating organization. However, because of a glitch in a participating Rotary club’s DDF there was a shortfall of $777. I anticipated this and made arrangements for the Soup Kitchen to absorb this remaining balance. To insure this doesn’t happen again, I suggest we obtain MOU’s from PE and PEE for Contributing clubs when accounting pledge amounts. 7. Income
