Rotary Club: Wasilla Sunrise Project Title: Children's Place 1. Describe the project. What was done, when and where did project activities take place? Help decorate and furnish a room for examinations of children who have been abused. 2. How many people benefited from this project? over a 1000 children a year and their families 3. Who were the beneficiaries, how were they impacted by this project, and what humanitarian need was met? Children in the Matanuska-Susitna Borough who have suffered abuse. The Children's Place provides a safe place that children can tell their story and be examined in one place. With all the agencies working together in one location. 4. How many Rotarians participated in the project? 5 5. What did they do? Please give at least two examples, not including financial support provided to the project. The original plan was to help paint and put together furniture. However the scope of the project changed, but we were able to assisted with organization. 6.
