Rotary Club: Chula Vista-Eastlake Project Title: House building Chula Vista 1. Describe the project. What was done, when and where did project activities take place? A house for a low income family was build in one day with project mercy; the Rotary Club of Chula Vista-Eastlake and Chula Vista work together to sponsor the project; Chula Vista-Eastlake help with paying a portion of the house and also the hands on activity on building the house 2. How many people benefited from this project? A full family of 6; and several neighbors 3. Who were the beneficiaries, how were they impacted by this project, and what humanitarian need was met? A family in a low income; they received a house that they didn't had before, stable place, the house has cement floor instead of dirt floor. A better place to live helps them prevent diseases, helps them have a united family and promote other neighbors to help out so they can get in the waiting list for a new home 4. How many Rotarians participated in the project? 5 from CV-Eastlake club 5. What did they do? Please give at least two examples, not including financial support provided to the project. Supported the house building process; provided house items gifts to the family; plan with the kids during the event. 6. If a cooperating organization was involved, what was its role? Project Mercy handle the logistics of the family that will receive the house; they have the plans and provide all the tools and logistics on how to build the house. They require for the families to help other families in different ways so they work as a community and support each other. 7. Income
