Rotary Club: Chula Vista-Eastlake Project Title: Oven in Kenya Orphanage 1. Describe the project. What was done, when and where did project activities take place? Contacted the Rotary Club of Milimani Club number: 25461 so they can oversee/follow up the purchase of the oven in our behalf; money to be transfer to a specific account. 2. How many people benefited from this project? 30 3. Who were the beneficiaries, how were they impacted by this project, and what humanitarian need was met? Kids from the Orphanage Watoto Wema Centre; by having the oven they will cook cakes and similar to sell them in there community and use the earnings to pay for the oven maintenance and buy more food, clothes and other first necessity items for them. This project is focus on Economic and community development. 4. How many Rotarians participated in the project? 2 clubs, Chula Vista-Eastlake and Milimani (Kenya) 5. What did they do? Please give at least two examples, not including financial support provided to the project. Contacted the Kenya club. Kenya club follow RI requirements and supported the purchase, transportation and providing the oven the the orphanage. 6. If a cooperating organization was involved, what was its role? 7. Income
