Project Title: Centro de Atención


Project Description

1. Describe the project. What was done, when and where did project activities take place?

The Centro de Atencion, new Tijuana Community center,is located south of Otay Mesa border,i Tijuanas a community space that aims to help the city,s low income residents,with a focus youth and women.Once the community center is complete,our T J Scholars students classes will move to this new location.This project provides better access to technology for their classes as well as accommodated more students.

2. How many people benefited from this project? 40.......plus future students of our T J Scholars Program

3. Who were the beneficiaries, how were they impacted by this project, and what humanitarian need was met?

Our students receive computer skills and English classes

4. How many Rotarians participated in the project? the whole Rotary Club Of La Jolla

Teaching classes and visits to the site and to our partners in this project Club Rotario De Servicio Tijuana A. C.

6. If a cooperating organization was involved, what was its role?

Club Rotario Tijuana helped supervise and fund this community project
