Project Title: Community Street Clock Phase 2


Project Description

1. Describe the project. What was done, when and where did project activities take place?

In support of the El Cajon City efforts to create a community venue for events, and family gatherings. A 4-sided Street Clock was purchased, installed, and landscaped to contribute to the community ambiance of the project. Funds were raised through the sale of signed bricks for the foundation, rummage sale, etc. The project lasted almost 2 years - Grant P-1846 and P-2116

2. How many people benefited from this project? 1000's of El Cajon's citizens and visitors.

3. Who were the beneficiaries, how were they impacted by this project, and what humanitarian need was met?

The City of El Cajon now is the home of Street Clock, located on Main Street in the new Prescott Promenande Park. Benches, trees, and landscaping have been added for the enjoyment of all who visit. The clock alsdo commemorates the 90 year relationship between the El Cajon Rotary Club and the City of El Cajon.

Fundraising projects, installed clock structural reinforcement,crane operation, trips to the dump, brick laying, and landscaping.
