Project Title: Library Books for BHMS


Project Description

1. Describe the project. What was done, when and where did project activities take place?

$1000 spent to buy48 library books for Rancho Bernardo Middle school. Program Speakers for the Rancho Bernardo Rotary Club, signed a book after their presentation to the club, and the book was then donated to the Library.

2. How many people benefited from this project? 654 students.

3. Who were the beneficiaries, how were they impacted by this project, and what humanitarian need was met?

Primary benefit went to the students. the books augmented their knowledge of various occupations, government programs, and people who could impact their lives after reading about them.

4. How many Rotarians participated in the project? At lease 65 club members viewed one of our 48 presentation ceremonies

5. What did they do? Please give at least two examples, not including financial support provided to the project.

The books were presented to the speaker, while said Rotarian presenter told a story about how the book related to the topic of the visiting speaker. Sever club members made the presentations throughout the year, though the primary presenter was Jim Hyldahl.

6. If a cooperating organization was involved, what was its role?

No other organization were involved except our Club and the benefiting Middle School.
