Project Description

1. Describe the project. What was done, when and where did project activities take place?

Hillside Anchorage Rotary made 3 separate purchases and delivery of food products to the Children's Lunch box - a program for at risk children in Anchorage, Alaska

2. How many people benefited from this project? More than 600 Children

3. Who were the beneficiaries, how were they impacted by this project, and what humanitarian need was met?

More than 600 school aged Children benefited from this project. The work and donations made by this grant enabled the weekend meal program to continue in the face of budget cuts.

4. How many Rotarians participated in the project? 12

5. What did they do? Please give at least two examples, not including financial support provided to the project.

Rotarian's coordinated food deliveries with the Children's lunch box staff, planned purchases and assisted with delivery.
