Rotary Club: Old Mission (San Diego) Project Title: Youth Services 1. Describe the project. What was done, when and where did project activities take place? We sent students to LEAD. Our RYLA and Model UN projects were both cancelled due to Covid-19. We decided to use the rest of the grant to award Copley-Price YMCA scholarships and to supply backpacks and food through the International Relief Team to youth from financially challenged families in the San Diego area. 2. How many people benefited from this project? We estimate around 500 to 600 3. Who were the beneficiaries, how were they impacted by this project, and what humanitarian need was met? Youth from financially challenged families 4. How many Rotarians participated in the project? 6 5. What did they do? Please give at least two examples, not including financial support provided to the project. Organize the LEAD students, Meet with the people from the YMCA and International Relief Team 6.
