Project Title: Plasma Sterilizer for Hospital


Project Description

1. Describe the project. What was done, when and where did project activities take place?

Donation of $1000 to Hospital Infantil Las Californias to be used to cover fees for the maintenance of the equipment of the hospital.

2. How many people benefited from this project? 16,000 surgeries

3. Who were the beneficiaries, how were they impacted by this project, and what humanitarian need was met?

Children of Tijuana that are low income. With this donation contributes to ensure that no children is turned away for inability to pay for any medical services.

4. How many Rotarians participated in the project? 25

5. What did they do? Please give at least two examples, not including financial support provided to the project.

All rotarians participated in different activities of the process such as requesting funds, visiting hospital, processed paper work or informed the community of our club projects.

6. If a cooperating organization was involved, what was its role?
