Rotary Club: Anchorage Project Title: The Children's Lunchbox 1. Describe the project. What was done, when and where did project activities take place? Our project was to raise money to provide approximately 1200 pantry pack boxes for The Children's Lunchbox. Initially, we also intended to use Club members to help put together the boxes, however, due to Co-vid restrictions, we were unable to assist with this process. We raised money for our portion of the grant over a period of months through cash calls and presentations to Club members. 2. How many people benefited from this project? Approximately 1200 meals for a family of four 3. Who were the beneficiaries, how were they impacted by this project, and what humanitarian need was met? The Children's Lunchbox has distributions sites to provide meals for kids. The pantry pack boxes provide a shelf-stable meal for a family of four. The beneficiaries of the meals are children and families experiencing food insecurity in Anchorage. 4. How many Rotarians participated in the project? n/a 5. What did they do? Please give at least two examples, not including financial support provided to the project. Lisa Sauder provided a presentation to our Club on The Children's Lunchbox. Due to co-vid, only financial support was provided to this project. 6. If a cooperating organization was involved, what was its role? n/a 7. Income
