Rotary Club: La Mesa Sunrise Project Title: Medical Supplies COVID-19 1. Describe the project. What was done, when and where did project activities take place? Lives were saved with the donation of Covid-19 PPP and equipment. On July of 2020 PPP was purchased and used at La Ceiba Covid-19 hospital. PPP was purchased and distributed In July of 2020. Doctors and nurses received PPE and were able to protect themselves against the spread of the virus. PPP was also used by patients 2. How many people benefited from this project? 125 3. Who were the beneficiaries, how were they impacted by this project, and what humanitarian need was met? Doctors, nurses and hospital personnel and hospital patients used the much needed PPP. A need to stop the spread of the Covid-19 virus was met with the donation of much needed protection equipment. 4. How many Rotarians participated in the project? 11 5. What did they do? Please give at least two examples, not including financial support provided to the project. Rotarians searched for the PPP as in July it was very difficult to find PPP in the country and around the world. They delivered the much needed materials to the hospital. 6. If a cooperating organization was involved, what was its role? No other organization was involved. 7. Income
