Rotary Club: El Camino Real (Oceanside) Project Title: Honoring High School Graduates 1. Describe the project. What was done, when and where did project activities take place? Blue Sash is an annual project of the Rotary Club of El Camino Real. Every year, the Club works with the Principal of El Camino High School in Oceanside, to identify and recognize the academic achievements and contributions of Honor Society Graduates. Every Spring, graduates and their parents are invited to a formal Rotary Banquet and Award ceremony. During the ceremony, Graduates are encouraged to pursue their academic passion and continue to participate and contribute to literacy efforts. Unfortunately, this year because of the Pandemic, the Banquet was cancelled. Instead, the Club decided to produce a Video of the National Honor Society graduates receiving their Scholarships and awards.
