Emergency erosion repairs to Coast Walk Trail in La Jolla Ca

Open cell erosion control grid was installed at erosion site to minimize future erosion

repairs completed on 18 March 2021

2. How many people benefited from this project? innumerable, coast walk trail is open to the public and heavily travelled

3. Who were the beneficiaries, how were they impacted by this project, and what humanitarian need was met?

Repairs prevented erosion from making the trail impassable.

General public is the beneficiary

5. What did they do? Please give at least two examples, not including financial support provided to the project.

Established Coast Walk Trail walk fundraiser for La Jolla Sunrise Rotary Club and also participated in the fundraiser walk

6. If a cooperating organization was involved, what was its role?

Friends of coast walk trail coordinated and supported the walk fundraiser.

Friends of coast walk trail also contributed $3100.00 towards the project cost
