Rotary Club: Anchorage South Project Title: 3rd Grade Dictionary Projects 1. Describe the project. What was done, when and where did project activities take place? Dictionaries were received August 2021. All dictionaries were distributed to area elementary schools. 2. How many people benefited from this project? 2807 students 3. Who were the beneficiaries, how were they impacted by this project, and what humanitarian need was met? 3rd grades students received a new dictionary for their use for this year and years to come. 4. How many Rotarians participated in the project? 15 from Anchorage South Rotary and 6 from Anchorage International 5. What did they do? Please give at least two examples, not including financial support provided to the project. Rotarians had to coordinate picking up their dictionaries at a local warehouse and then coordinate with each principal they were delivering to. Then the Rotarians had to deliver to the schools. 6. If a cooperating organization was involved, what was its role? Anchorage International cooperated with this project. They donated $1000 towards the cost of our project and delivered to 11 schools. 7.
