Rotary Club: Chula Vista-Eastlake Project Title: Baja Bound House Building 1. Describe the project. What was done, when and where did project activities take place? Agriculture workers living in the area of Maniadero Ensenada, Mexico, arrive from south of Mexico with no means to purchase a house, they work on the fields and are able to save to purchase land. In this area, Baja Bound and the Rotary club, we built a house house for a family. By providing a house to the families, they are more stable, health and have better conditions to continue school, support their family and grown to be out of poverty in the future 2. How many people benefited from this project? 6 3. Who were the beneficiaries, how were they impacted by this project, and what humanitarian need was met? The family that will live in the house; housing for a family, will improve the opportunity for there kids to have a stable place to live and study for school 4. How many Rotarians participated in the project? 13 5. What did they do? Please give at least two examples, not including financial support provided to the project. Obtained funds for the project; hands-on working on the house from the ground up. Rotarians, family memebers and friends participated in the activity. 6.
