Rotary Club: Fallbrook Project Title: Project Mercy 1. Describe the project. What was done, when and where did project activities take place? The Project Mercy event was on December 4, 2021. Homes were built in Tijuana, Mexico by multiple clubs within District 5340 including a local Rotaract & Interact group.. The Fallbrook Club and the Fallbrook Village Club provided financial assistance in the building of these homes and sent volunteers to help also. 2. How many people benefited from this project? many families benefited from the many homes that were built 3. Who were the beneficiaries, how were they impacted by this project, and what humanitarian need was met? The beneficiaries were families selected by Project Mercy to receive homes in the Tijuana, Mexico area. Basic shelter and sanitation needs were met with this project. 4. How many Rotarians participated in the project? approximately 150 Rotarians, Rotaracters, and Interacters partticipated 5. What did they do? Please give at least two examples, not including financial support provided to the project. Rotarians built homes in Tijuana, Mexico under the guide of Project Mercy. Supplies were provided by Project Mercy and tools were made available to helping Rotarians. These single family homes provide basic shelter and sanitation for the selected families by Project Mercy. 6. If a cooperating organization was involved, what was its role? Community Development Projects Inc. DBA Project Mercy provided the materials and tools along with the families that benefited from this project 7. Income
