Project Title: Birthline of San Diego


Project Description

1. Describe the project. What was done, when and where did project activities take place?

Purchased Computer equipment, supplies, software to support pregnancy and family support center for families in need of services and necessities. Equipment was installed in Birthline offices and functional effective 18-Feb-2022.

2. How many people benefited from this project? 200 service recipients per month.

3. Who were the beneficiaries, how were they impacted by this project, and what humanitarian need was met?

Provide food, diapers, formula, clothing, newborn essentials, and other baby items to low-income pregnant women and families with young children. The equipment provided organizational tools in the management and delivery of services to recipients as well as tools for leveraging income through donations.

4. How many Rotarians participated in the project? 1 full time volunteer and numerous Point Loma Rotary Club members

5. What did they do? Please give at least two examples, not including financial support provided to the project.

Sponsoring Rotarian is full time volunteer assisting in the collection and distribution of items for infants. Point Loma Rotary club periodically contributes food, diapers, formula, clothing, newborn essentials for financially distressed families.

None.
