Rotary Club: Escondido Sunrise Project Title: Bikes For Kids 1. Describe the project. What was done, when and where did project activities take place? 100 Bikes were distributed to kids in school at the Marine base Camp Pendleton YMCA. Took place in the gym. 2. How many people benefited from this project? 100 3. Who were the beneficiaries, how were they impacted by this project, and what humanitarian need was met? We were all beneficiaries of this event, and nearly 100 kids who wouldn't have gotten a bike for the holidays did. Hundreds of people were affected positively. 4. How many Rotarians participated in the project? 40 5. What did they do? Please give at least two examples, not including financial support provided to the project. We had a bike building meeting on a Saturday morning in December where 25 members and family put together all the bikes. It was a fun event and well attended. 6. If a cooperating organization was involved, what was its role? Bikes for Kids Foundation supplies the bikes and help with distribution. They are a GREAT organization. 7. Income
