Rotary Club: San Diego Coastal Project Title: Sponsor students for 2022 LEAD 1. Describe the project. What was done, when and where did project activities take place? Four students were sponsored to attend the District 5340 LEAD conference in October 2022. 2. How many people benefited from this project? Four students 3. Who were the beneficiaries, how were they impacted by this project, and what humanitarian need was met? Four eighth graders from District 5340 were sponsored to attend the LEAD conference, which teaches Leadership, Ethics, Aspiration, and Determination, and how they can apply those concepts to be leaders. 4. How many Rotarians participated in the project? 1 from SD Coastal Rotary; 20+ from the district 5. What did they do? Please give at least two examples, not including financial support provided to the project. Rotarians from across the district partnered to plan and execute the two-day LEAD conference. Rotarians from multiple clubs partnered with schools to select the students to participate in the weekend. 6. If a cooperating organization was involved, what was its role? n/a 7. Income

District must retain receipts of all expenditures for at least five years.
