Project Description

1. Describe the project. What was done, when and where did project activities take place?

Altruist Relief Kitchen was responsible for setting up field kitchens in Ukraine and Turkey to feed the population from the ongoing Ukrainian/Russia war and following the earthquake in Turkey.

2. How many people benefited from this project? As of today, 170,000 meals have been served in Ukraine.

3. Who were the beneficiaries, how were they impacted by this project, and what humanitarian need was met?

For the civilians in the war torn areas of Ukraine and earthquake stricken Turkey, the Altruist Relief Kitchen provids very economical meals for thousands which would have gone hungry if not for their efforts.

4. How many Rotarians participated in the project? none

5. What did they do? Please give at least two examples, not including financial support provided to the project.
