Rotary Club: Del Mar Project Title: Dental X-Ray Machine 1. Describe the project. What was done, when and where did project activities take place? Purchase a dental X-Ray machine for a rural clinic. 2. How many people benefited from this project? The 14k patients seen at this clinic per year on average 3. Who were the beneficiaries, how were they impacted by this project, and what humanitarian need was met? Everyone needing dental work in the province. Prior to this gift there was no in-house x-ray capability so exams and repair work was solely based on visual inspection. Better, more precise dental care will save many teeth that would otherwise be lost. Similarly, early diagnosis of childhood issues will let them preserve their teeth into adulthood, as well as help identify potential diseases earlier. 4. Assess Cakaudrove's Dental Clinic's greatest needs, liaise with Director Ricky as to specific models of minimal & maximum quality. Research & price globally.
