Rotary Club: La Mesa Project Title: Julian Oak Youth Ministries 1. Describe the project. What was done, when and where did project activities take place? Mentoring of foster youth that are aging out of the foster system And our beginning their journey into adulthood. Workshops, one on one mentoring, group, meet ups, that happen in various restaurants, Camp Julian Oaks, campground, via zoom. 2. How many people benefited from this project? 15 3. Who were the beneficiaries, how were they impacted by this project, and what humanitarian need was met? The beneficiaries were the foster youth that are aging out of the foster system. They are impacted by the project because they are lacking guidance and direction on how to transition from being in the foster care system to being on their own. The humanitarian that was met the sense of empowerment in their own destiny 4. How many Rotarians participated in the project? 6 5. What did they do? Please give at least two examples, not including financial support provided to the project. The Rotarians participated in a group, meet up mentorship program and in recommendations to Camp Julian Oaks for different industries that could be helpful to mentees. 6. If a cooperating organization was involved, what was its role? No other organization was present however, Camp Julian Oaks is the primary organization. 7. Income
