Rotary Club: San Diego Coastal Project Title: Youth Services SDiego Coastal 1. Describe the project. What was done, when and where did project activities take place? San Diego Coastal used funds to sponsor: 2 Students to 5340 RYLA 2 students to 5340 LEAD 2. How many people benefited from this project? 4 students: 2 for RYLA, 2 for LEAD 3. Who were the beneficiaries, how were they impacted by this project, and what humanitarian need was met? RYLA: 2 High school students were given the opportunity to learn about Rotary and develop their leadership, team building and peace building skills during the District 5340 RYLA 3 day camp in April 2024. LEAD: TWO eight grade students were sponsored to attend the District LEAD conference in October 2023. to learn about leadership, ethics, Aspiration, and determination, and how they can apply those concepts to be leaders. 4. How many Rotarians participated in the project? 4 5. What did they do? Please give at least two examples, not including financial support provided to the project. Rotarians from across the District came together to plan and execute the two day LEAD CONFERENCE and the 3 day RYLA CAMP. Rotarians from multiple clubs partnered with schools to select the students that participated in both RYLA and LEAD. 6. If a cooperating organization was involved, what was its role? N/A 7. Income

District must retain receipts of all expenditures for at least five years.
