Rotary Club: Sweetwater San Diego Project Title: Community Sustainability 1. Describe the project. What was done, when and where did project activities take place? Distribution of Various Groceries, Rice, Milk, Sugar, Laundry,Incontinent and Health Supplies was held at the Home For The Aged, a non-stock and non-profit intitution providing care for the disadvantaged and abandoned elderly of the community located in Purok Talisay II, Visayan Village, Tagum City, Davao del Norte on November 8, 2024. This institution mainly relies on funding from the government allocation which barely supports its needs. 2. How many people benefited from this project? 70 residents 3. Who were the beneficiaries, how were they impacted by this project, and what humanitarian need was met? The Disadvantaged and Abandoned Elderly persons of the community were treated to an early Christmas treats hosted by the Rotarians from the Rotary Club of Tagum Golden LACES and the Rotary Club of Sweetwater San Diego whereby enhancing Community Economic Development 4. How many Rotarians participated in the project? 22 Rotarians 5. What did they do? Please give at least two examples, not including financial support provided to the project. Each participant and all recipients from the Home for The Aged were gathered and were made sure to receive their share of the goodies provided. Snacks and drinks were distributed while having a short presentation. 6. If a cooperating organization was involved, what was its role? The help of the Local Department of Social Welfare and Development was secured through its Protective Services Division Field Office and was too gracious and kind in facilitating the event. 7. Income
