Rotary Club: Rancho Bernardo (San Diego) Project Title: Your Safe Place 1. Describe the project. What was done, when and where did project activities take place? Your Safe Place Foundation seeks to provide emergency support to survivors of family and domestic violence, and their children, through a comprehensive approach aimed at addressing their immediate needs and enhancing their safety and well-being. Our project requests a grant of $3.200 to supply gift cards for essential needs such as food and gas, Ring cameras for enhanced security, diapers and baby food for families with children, and Comfort Cubs for children and adults undergoing forensic interviews and exams. 2. How many people benefited from this project? 26 3. Who were the beneficiaries, how were they impacted by this project, and what humanitarian need was met? Operation Safe Hotel is intended to support and provide safe, temporary housing to individuals experiencing domestic violence. This program primarily assists after hours, in the evenings and weekends, when access to help is limited. Law enforcement transports these at risk victims, and their children, to hotels and Your Safe Place follows up with safety planning and supportive services the next business morning. 4.
