Rotary Club: San Diego Coastal Project Title: Supporting Homeless Community 1. Describe the project. What was done, when and where did project activities take place? We provided the money to Shoreline Community services to purchase supplies to provide to their clients at their outreach center. 2. How many people benefited from this project? 15 3. Who were the beneficiaries, how were they impacted by this project, and what humanitarian need was met? Our neighbors experiencing homelessness were positively impacted by this project as they were provided supplies to make sleeping outside more bearable. Our Rotaract members were also positively impacted by being able to participate in a work day at Shoreline's outreach center, the Compass Station. 4. How many Rotarians participated in the project? 6 5. What did they do? Please give at least two examples, not including financial support provided to the project. Our members conducted a deep clean day at the Compass Station, our members also spread the word about Shoreline's mission and the importance of the Beach Community in San Diego providing support to our neighbors experiencing homelessness. 6.
