Many of the schools in this District have no water or toilets. Lack of water, toilets and knowledge of basic hygiene has led to preventable illnesses such as diarrhea and intestinal parasites. This project will dig wells to provide a constant source of water, which will be pumped into a tank and delivered by gravity feed to the schools. Toilets and a sink will be provided at each site. Villagers will provide free labor for the construction of this project. A training program will be provided by the host Rotarians to teach how to maintain the pumps and how to keep the toilets clean. This program will also provide disease prevention training in basic hygiene. Proposed Budget three wells IDR 90209993; three water towers & tanks IDR 61260540; three sets of toilets & toilet buildings IDR 57573303; three wash sinks IDR 15301350;, Hygiene training and materials IDR 75662220. Total IDR 300,007,406. Proposed start 1/1/11 Completion 1/1/12
