Project Description Region: Asia Country: USA Location: Kyrgyzstan Total Budget: $30,000 Area of Focus: Peacebuilding and conflict prevention Our candidate for this Global Grant Scholarship is Ms. Nurjamal Shadieva, who will enroll in a 15-month Master's program in Conflict Management and Resolution at the University of San Diego Kroc School of Peace Studies, beginning in late August 2021. Selected by both D5340 and D5080, Ms. Shadieva is a strong candidate with a history of working for international organizations, and wishes to further develop her skills. Coming from and having experienced a conflict zone, she is clearly motivated to pursue this career path after graduation.
