This project is in direct response to the OVC's(Other Vulnerable Children's) request for help in the Diocese of Moshi in the Kilimanjaro region in an effort to increase the welfare, education, medication, health care, and well being of these children. The Rainbow Centre plans to work hand in hand with its benefiting communitiesin the Kilimanjaro Region.
This project proposes to approach these OVC issues as a means to provide secure sustainability and proactive response to HIV/AIDS effects. This project will involve communities in planning, implementing, and evaluating of project activities so they will have asense of ownership. This strategy opens opportunities, and provides an environment for growth and development. The parties together will lobby for support to gain acceptance in government cycles and work with child friendly organizations.
