We have sixty active members with variety of classification. We have few experienced rotary members as well as new enthusiastic young rotary members. In last seven years we have successfully carried out more than 300+ community service projects in seven focus areas of Rotary. We have completed ThreeGlobalGrant Projects 1) Establishing Pediatric Neurology unit at Sassoon Hospital Pune in 2018 along with Rotary Club Of Barrie - Kempenfelt of District 7010 (GG 1867478) 2) Upgrading Pediatric Respiratory Unit at Sassoon Hospital in 2021along with Rotary Club Of Cottleville / Weldon Spring Club Of District 6060 ( GG 2121689) 3) Establishing Pediatric Laparoscopy Surgery Setup at Sassoon Hospital in 2021 along with Rotary Club Of Cottleville / Weldon Spring Club Of District 6060(GG 2232732) With earlier good experience, this year we decided to undertake another global grant project with TarachandRamnath Charitable Ayurvedic Hospital, Pune About TARACHAND RAMNATH CHARITABLE AAYURVEDIC HOSPITAL SETH TARACHAND RAMNATH CHARITABLE AAYURVEDIC HOSPITAL TRUST (Located at 580 / 2, Rasta Peth , Vaidya NanalShastreeStreet , Pune, India) established in year 1926 has provided healthcare services at affordable cost to the poor segments of the community through its hospital for 95 years. The hospital is equipped with 222 beds with ICU of 10 beds, NICU of 16 beds, Dialysis of 13 beds and OPDs The Hospital is equipped with 6 nos. operation theatres. All Types of Surgeries are conducted successfully in the hospital except Cardiac and Oncology. The Trust's TilakAayurvedic College - an Aayurvedic Medical College supports this hospital. The medical college's resident doctors are always available to the hospital. Institute offers allopathic as well as AayurvedicTreatments. About Project - UPGRADING GYNACOLOGY, ICU & OT (Focus Area - Disease Prevention & Treatment) The Daily inflow is 400-500 OPD patients per day. Out of which 10% are advised to admit in IPD then there are maximum 30 to 40 patients require different treatments or operations as suggested by OPD consultants. BPL (Below Poverty Line) Patients are treated Free Of Cost with the support of generous donations from the community and CSR donations. The Hospital authorities have approached & requested our club for helping them to upgrade GYNACOLOGY, Ophthal Dept. & ICU & OT UNITs, in the hospital. These patients will be treated free of charge. In private hospital Cost of treatment planned through the above equipment may range from INR 10000 to 50000 (approx. USD 230 to 800).
