Project Description

Region: Eastern Europe

Country: Ukraine

Location: Northern part of Kyiv reg

Total Budget: $102,297

Area of Focus: Basic education and literacy

In Ukraine, there is a pressing need for a safe and secure environment where children can continue their learning process amidst the challenging times of war. Recognizing this critical need, our project, "Shelter for Safe Education UA," aims to raise funds for the construction of a bomb shelter dedicated to ensuring the uninterrupted educational journey of Ukrainian children during times of conflict.

The ongoing conflict in Ukraine has created a volatile environment, leading to disruptions in the education system.

The primary need identified is to provide a secure space where children can safely continue their learning process, regardless of the external circumstances.

The project focuses on constructing a dedicated bomb shelter for a local school, located in the Petrivska Village Council, Northern part of Kyiv region, to ensure a safe haven for students during times of war or conflict.

The shelter will be equipped with the necessary facilities and resources to support continuous education basic amenities.

Project Funds Allocation:

The funds raised will be allocated to various aspects of the project, including construction materials, labor costs, educational resources, and safety measures.

Transparent financial management will be maintained, with regular updates provided to donors on fund utilization.

Club Members' Involvement:

Club members will play a pivotal role in organizing fundraising events, outreach programs, and engaging the community to garner support.

Community Involvement:

Collaboration with local businesses, NGOs, and government authorities will be sought to enhance community support and ensure the sustainability of the project.

Regular updates and involvement of community members will foster a sense of ownership and collective responsibility for the success of the Shelter for Safe Education UA project.

"Shelter for Safe Education UA" aims to address a critical need in Ukraine by providing a secure educational environment for children during times of war. With the support of generous donors, community members, and dedicated club volunteers, we strive to make a lasting impact on the lives of Ukrainian children by ensuring that their education remains a beacon of hope even in the face of adversity.

Clubs sending their cash contribution to TRF must be aware they will have to send an additional 5%.
