We propose to undertake & execute the project for economical weaker community. and Lower Middle-Class Poor families. For upcoming year(2024-25) we are proposing a Global Grant Projects of Happy school and Happy Village. roughly to the tune of USD $30,000+.
We have received request from various schools in the region who need our help. For this project we have short listed and identified five schools of rural area, located about 50 kms form our town Pune. Community staying there is poor lower class mainly serving in farm land on daily wedges. Schools located nearby are with poor infrastructure. students cannot even afford to pay school fees. So renovation and up gradation of school building and premises is difficult for school management. We propose to help them with repairing and up gradation of school which will help students to get education in healthy and clean environment with comfortable class rooms. These are the schools where students count is from 50 to 500.
We have visited various schools and identified few schools where we will have to work on priority basis to repair and make a good premises. Students are getting education with skilled and expert teachers who are master in their subject. To promote good education facility we thought we should come ahead and help them. We identified following works which we propose to undertake in identified schools.-
List of job includes-
1. Repairing of windows and doors,
2. Repairing of over head roof slab of class rooms with water proofing,
3. Repairing and replacement of broken and damaged roofing sheets.
4. Painting and coloring of class rooms,
5. Repairing of Girls and Boys Toilet Blocks,
6. Drinking water Provision for students.
7. Providing of chain link fencing for schools.
8. Providing Science Lab Equipment,
9. Providing Computers and Smart TV's.
10. Repairing of Electrical wringing Providing Safety grills for school Lobby.etc.
11. We are also including WASH and Teachers Training in this project.
We have our global grant committee in our club who will be shouldering responsibility of this project from start to end till handing over and reporting to RI. We have technically qualified club members who are Engineers and expert in handling projects and site work. We have legacy of doing global grant project in our club We are aware about all procedure and formalities of RI rules and norms.
We are inviting & requesting help from international Clubs and Dist to join us as partners in services for this need base project. We request you to Pl do Reserve some funds from your next year's budget for project. We expect maximum Amount of contribution as per your budget and funds availability, which will fulfill requirement of our necessary project cost. We will be sharing complete project details in due course of time before uploading it on RI site. We need confirmation and your pledge for the amount, so we can incorporate your club name as international project partners. You will have to remit the amount to RI account once project is Approved by RI which will happen in RI year 24-25 i.e. after month of July 2024.
We our self will be contributing for this project with our Dist 3131's DDF contribution.
